In order for Papyrus to communicate with !Citation, it needs to be introduced to two new output and input Formats. Here’s a brief guide to loading these formats into Papyrus.
1) Find the file CITATION.FLB (located in this directory) and copy it onto a
floppy disc.
2) Load Papyrus and insert the floppy into the computer.
3) Go to Formats>LiBrary in Papyrus
4) At the Path: dialogue, enter A:\
Press Return
5) Select the file CITATION.FLB
Answer Yes to "Is this the Library you intended?"
6) Now you’ll find yourself in the "Format Library Option" menu.
Select "Copy from Library".
7) Now you’ll be asked "Copy which Format"
Type ! and answer Yes to "Copy all these Formats".
This should copy the formats !IN CITE and !OUT CITE.
8) When asked, "Press any key to continue" and then ESC three times to return to
the main menu.
If all went according to plan, you’ve now installed the required input and output formats into Papyrus.
Just to check, go to Formats>Input/Edit and type a !
The two formats !IN CITE and !OUT CITE should appear for you to choose from.
!IN CITE is for importing references generated by !Citation (using the PapOut output style).
!OUT CITE is for exporting references in a format which !Citation can understand.
