  3. A BBC type font editor.
  4. =======================
  5. Font file (FF7) can be loaded by dragging them onto the !Font8x8 icon on the
  6. icon bar.
  7. Clicking on the !Font8x8 icon will produce a window (similar to the
  8. !CharEnter window).Clicking on a character within this window will cause
  9. another window to appear,with a magnified version of the chosen character
  10. in it.
  11. Clicking with select in this window will set a pixel,adjust will unset it.

  13. Menu options
  14. ============
  15. The main menu can be brought up by pressing menu on the !Font8x8 icon.
  16.  
  17. Save    : This allows font files to be saved,in the usual manner.
  18. 128-255 : If this option is ticked,when a font file is saved,characters 128-
  19.           255 are saved,otherwise they are not.If the option is not ticked,
  20.           the characters in the character window above 127 will appear red,
  21.           this shows they will not be saved.
  22. Reset   : This resets the character set to the default one.

  24. There is a collection of BBC fonts in the directory Fonts.These have been
  25. designed on !Font8x8 for use with it.They are public domain and may not be
  26. used in any program which will be sold for a profit without my permission.
