  11. You only need to read this file if you are upgrading from an early
  12. version of Atlanta.
  13.  
  14. Before upgrading Atlanta you should make sure that you have at least 2
  15. Megabytes of free disc space on the hard drive that Atlanta is stored on.
  16. This space is required during the upgrade as the way Atlanta stores the
  17. actual font data has altered considerably between this and the previous
  18. version. 
  19.  
  20. This is to fix a number of problems with the support of non-UK / Latin 1
  21. machines.
  22.  
  23. Once the upgrade has been done, Atlanta will nolonger require the extra 2 MB
  24. of disc space and this can be reused.
  25.  
  26. Upgrading from 2.52 or above
  27. ============================

  29.   1. Quit Atlanta if it is loaded on your icon bar.
  30.  
  31.   2. Make a backup of your working copy.
  32.  
  33.   3. Copy the version of Atlanta from the archive over your working
  34.      copy of Atlanta.
  35.  
  36.   4. Load the updated copy of Atlanta.
  37.  
  38. Upgrading from pre 2.52
  39. =======================
  40.  
  41.   1. Quit Atlanta if it is loaded on your icon bar.
  42.  
  43.   2. Make a backup of your working copy.
  44.  
  45.   3. Copy the version of Atlanta from the archive over your working
  46.      copy of Atlanta.
  47.  
  48.   4. Load the updated copy of Atlanta.
  49.  
  50.   5. Click SELECT on the Atlanta icon bar icon to open the main window.
  51.  
  52.   6. Click MENU over the main window, and select the ReIndex menu
  53.      item from the Miscellaneous submenu.
  54.  
  55.   7. When asked if you wish to recreate *ALL* the data, confirm this.
  56.      You will unfortuantely need to recreate any folders that you have
  57.      already created with in Atlanta, however, recreating all the data will
  58.      make 100% sure that your fonts are stored correctly.
