  1. EUCLID is the foremost 3-D modelling and animation system for the Archimedes.

  3. Features: A fully Wimp-driven Design program allowing interactive
  4. construction of 3-D objects with the minimum of effort. Simple camera setup
  5. and movement. Easy to use interface to BBC-BASIC for real-time animation of
  6. simple 3-D scenes with no mathematical know-how. Libraries of shapes can be
  7. built up for rapid scene construction. Plenty of pre-defined shapes and
  8. programming examples are supplied.

  10. Registered users of EUCLID should have upgraded already to a version of the
  11. system which can cope fully with RISCOS. Those who have not done so will
  12. find that the original system will work correctly as a 'take over the
  13. screen' application, except that the WIMP colours will be strange, and that
  14. some window positions will alter. Both of these versions should only be used
  15. in Mode 15.

  17. There is now a full RISCOS compatible EUCLID costing £70. This system is
  18. available to registered owners at £15 (return your original disk - you get a
  19. new manual).

  21. MOGUL is a film generation system available as an attachment to Euclid
  22. for £20. You can construct complex animations of Euclid objects combined
  23. with artwork which can be replayed at high speed. Only a few camera
  24. positions need be set up - all intermediate frames are calculated for
  25. you. The compression/expansion system is applicable to any sequence of
  26. graphic screens, and can manage Normal or Delta compression. It is
  27. accessible from BBC-BASIC.

  29. The Projector directory on this disc contains a public domain film expander 
  30. which can be used to play Ace Films in a window on the desktop.

  32. Watch out for further titles from ACE Computing, all specifically written to run under RISCOS.
