  7. Hello and welcome to Eureka Disc 16.
  8.  
  9. If you find any defects on this disc, please return it to the Club's
  10. Freepost address for a free replacement. Nick Evans will be particularly
  11. happy to hear from you since this disc has been duplicated on the Club's
  12. new dedicated disc duplicator!
  13.  
  14. As usual, there was far too much material to be included in Eureka
  15. but please don't let that put you off contributing original articles!
  16. The next issue will be published sooner than usual so there will be
  17. less time for people to send in new articles.
  18.  
  19. All members are welcome to contribute reviews, articles, software and any
  20. other material suitable for inclusion in Eureka Magazine or on this disc.
  21. Letters and Hints & Tips are always welcomed. The more you get involved
  22. with the Club, the more you will get out of it.
  23.  
  24. Please note that we have had some problems with individuals approaching
  25. companies and asking for review software direct, supposedly to review 
  26. for Eureka. This must not happen, the Club Committee will have to take
  27. very firm action against anybody bending the rules in this respect.
  28. If you are keen to review a package, put your interest in writing
  29. to the Eureka Editor, Simon Burrows at the FREEPOST address.

  32. LEICESTER OPEN DAY - ARM '95 MIDLANDS

  35. Don't forget our next Open Day on Saturday 9th September at Leicester
  36. High School for Girls. This is located on the main A6 London Road and
  37. the doors will be open between 10am and 4pm. Do come along & say hello.

  40. PD LIBRARY CD-ROM

  43. The Club PD Library will be launching its own CD-ROM containing PD and
  44. Shareware software at the Acorn World Show in October. This will be priced
  45. at £19.95 so make a note to buy a copy!

  48. ACORN NEWS

  51. Just after Eureka went to press, Acorn informed us that it has withdrawn
  52. the single-user version of InterTalk from sale. This is both good and bad
  53. news - good because InterTalk isn't up to scratch but bad news because it
  54. means Acorn hasn't got a credible single-user Internet package. Frankly
  55. the multi-user version needs a great deal of work doing on it as well.
