- Description:
-
- [NB. !Filters 1.12 replaces !Filters 0.37 *and* !PinFilter 1.10.]
-
- Filters contains some useful patches to improve the Pinboard and Filer.
- Filters is fully configurable and can provide the following patches:
-
- * SetCSD - set currently selected directory by dragging switcher icon,
- * Confirm - force the filer to ask confirmation only for delete operations,
- * IconSprite - load sprite files into Wimp pool or toolsprites pool by
- dragging to Palette Utility/Display Manager/Desktop Control,
- * FilerPin - pin directories to Pinboard rather than iconising their windows,
- * DontClaim - prevent Pinboard acknowledging Message_WindowClosed,
- * PinFilter - save files into a temporary directory when dragged from save
- boxes to the Pinboard; files can have a configurable expiry
- time,
- * Basket - wastebasket that intercepts delete operations from the filer,
- with configurable expiry time,
- * Iconise - iconise windows without using the shift key by one of four
- (configurable) methods:
-
- (1) a window iconise icon (next to the close icon),
- (2) using the MENU mouse button instead of shift,
- (3) clicking ADJUST on the window's back icon,
- (4) clicking SELECT and holding for a configurable time on the
- window's close icon.
