  4. This is a port of Grep made by David Pilling in the very dim and distant
  5. past. I downloaded it from the stuttgart FTP site with the express intention
  6. of making it use throwback, however the sources required ArthurLib when they
  7. began life, so I've had to modify some sections to work slightly differently
  8. with Norcroft C v5.
  9.  
  10. The main difference with this version of Grep is that you can use -T as an
  11. option to use throwback. Alternatively, setting Grep$Throwback to 1 will
  12. force this on all uses of grep.
  13.  
  14. I do not guarentee this version to work perfectly, but it seems quite stable
  15. to me, and I shall be using it in preference to the version I had before
  16. (mostly because of the throwback facility).

  18. The 'resources' directory contains the additional files that this archive
  19. came with which may be of more use to you than to me.
