!LogOn

---------------------------------------------------
Instructions
This simple program will unlock your machine, if it
has a password protecting the filing system. It also
displays your name on the screen on boot up, so
providing some extra security in case of theft.
To use the program, double click on it. To make it
run automatically on a Risc PC, hold down Shift,
double click on the computer's main !Boot
application, go into Choices, Boot and then Tasks.
Copy !LogOn to that directory.
When the computer is booted, it will display a
security message and ask for the password. To ignore
the request, simply close the window. This is useful
if you allow friends to play games, but not to
modify the system at all.
To change the security message, hold down Shift and
double click on !LogOn, then edit the file
'Messages'.
If the computer is not password-protected, this
program will quit immediately. You can set or
change the password using the configuration system
in !Boot. !LogOn is intended for use with the FSLock
password system.
