  34. !AS is a simple assembler for generating AOF (object) files.  It is designed
  35. to be used with the desktop development environment supplied with Desktop C
  36. as Desktop C doesn't include an assembler, although it may also be used from
  37. the command line.  It does not contain all of the commands in Acorn's
  38. assembler, the most obvious omissions being macros and debug information.
  39. Source code is included.  This version may also be compiled on UNIX machines.
