Lottery Checker v1.00a 28th April 1997
======================================
Overview
========
The Lottery Checker application allows you to check the National Lottery
draw numbers against lists of your own numbers.
WARNING
=======
Please remember to check your lottery numbers by hand and do not rely
solely on !LotCheck for seeing if you have a winning line. As with all
software I can't guarantee it to be fault free or free from the influence
of the Dark Forces within.
Using Lottery Checker
=====================
To launch Lottery Checker, double-click on the !LotCheck icon which will then
appear on the right hand side of the icon bar.
You can store your list of lottery numbers in a text file, created using !Edit,!Zap,
etc. in the format given below.
The format of your numbers file MUST be as follows:
<number of lottery lines>
a line of 6 numbers seperated by spaces. An optional name upto 14 letters
can be appended to each line. A name must not contain a space.
Example file:
5
20 48 29 40 2 4 Tom
13 19 35 38 34 23
45 10 17 7 13 23 Bob
9 31 16 2 37 22
40 11 47 1 13 39 Fred
Clicking on the LotCheck icon will display a dialog with six draw number fields
and a bonus ball field. Enter the days draw numbers in the six fields and the
bonus ball figure in the appropriate field. Click on the OK button.
To check your numbers drag your numbers file onto the !LotCheck icon on the icon
bar. !LotCheck will compare the numbers in your file against the winning numbers
you entered into the dialog. A check window will appear containing the name of the
file you're checking, the total number of matches in each line and what the matches
are.
Dragging another file to be checked, appends its results to the contents of the
check window.
