  37. The package includes:

  43. !ZhongWen is a text editor which can edit using Chinese characters.  It
  44. can view and edit Chinese texts in "Guobiao" code format. Pinyin is
  45. used for entering Chinese characters, with a selection window to
  46. display possible matches.  "Big5" files (traditional characters) can be
  47. viewed but not edited.  Latin characters can be entered by switching to
  48. text mode.  Clicking ADJUST on a character pops up a box showing the
  49. pinyin for it (and the underlying two-byte code).  So if your knowledge
  50. of characters is a bit dodgy you can easily find out what they are.

  52. !FlashCard is a simple program to display Chinese characters in either
  53. simplified (Jianti) or traditional (Fanti) form from standard 'card' files.
  54. These also contain the 'pin-yin' pronunciation for the characters and the
  55. English translations. It is intended mainly as an aid to recognising the
  56. characters. Some sample card files based on the book 'A Practical Chinese
  57. Reader' have been included.
