License conditions for KeyChange
================================
This program can be distributed freely, but I retain copyright. You can copy
and circulate it as you wish, as long as you don't sell it for profit, and
as long as all supplied files go with it. I make no warranty for the
performance of the program, fitness for any purpose, or absence of bugs, and
I take no responsibility for files erased, computers blown up, nuclear wars
started, or any other consequence of the use of the program. Basically, I've
done the best I can to make it bug free, but beyond that (as with all PD
programs) you should use it with care.
Permission is NOT given:
1) To modify the source or object code (except to fix bugs).
2) To alter the way the keys are mapped (this could cause confusion).
3) To incorporate the module code into another module.
In other words, the functionality of the module must not be changed. These
conditions apply to distribution, not to end-users (but if you modify
something as a user, remember not to pass it on!).
Permission is, however, given to use parts of the source code in other
applications provided that credit is given, and provided that similar
distribution conditions to those above are imposed.
Authors of public-domain hot-key utilities are encouraged to make use of
this module, and to distribute it with their software, provided that such
distribution obeys the conditions above. I would strongly urge, however,
that the extra codes provided are NOT intercepted by any foreground
application (i.e. through a window with the input focus). I would also
recommend that any hot-key utility should provide the option to change
the key press(es) used, preferably by allowing the user to type the keypress
(using a dialogue box with input focus).
If you find the program useful you might like to make a donation to Oxfam
- say £5.
