The three different charge rates for national calls, as automatically
selected by ModemUtil from the Archimedes real time clock, are:
Peak rate (9am-1pm Monday to Friday)
Standard rate (8am-9am and 1pm-6pm Monday to Friday)
Cheap rate (6pm-8am Monday to Friday and all weekend)
For international calls, the charge rates are a little more complex, but
again, ModemUtil automatically selects the correct one from the Archimedes
real time clock:
Charge bands 1,2,3,9 and 10
Standard rate (8am-8pm Monday to Friday)
Cheap rate (8pm-8am Monday to friday and all weekend)
Charge bands 4 and 5
Peak rate (3pm-5pm Monday to Friday)
Standard rate (8am-3pm and 5pm-8pm Monday to Friday)
Cheap rate (8pm-8am Monday to Friday and all weekend)
Charge bands 7,8,11,12 and 13
Standard rate (8am-8pm Monday to Sunday)
Cheap rate (8pm-8am Monday to Sunday)
Charge band 6
Standard rate (7am-2.30pm amd 7.30pm-Midnight Monday to Sunday)
Cheap rate (Midnight-7am and 2.30pm-7.30pm Monday to Sunday)
National distance call categories (International call catergories in

'L' rate - Calls within the local area
'a' rate - Calls up to 56.4km (35 miles)
'b' rate - Calls over 56.4km (35 miles)
'b1' rate - Calls at reduced rate over 56.4km (35 miles)
'm' rate - Dialled calls to mobile telephones
'p1' rate - Calls to premium rate telephone services
