256 Colour Palette Files.
=========================
To use a palette, simply drag it into !EditPal for editing or !Fractal where
it becomes the 'External' palette - the palette icon at the top right of the
Tools. The name of the palette is shown in the Palette->Presets menu list. To
modify a 256 colour sprite, load the sprite into !Paint and drop the palette
file onto it.
Palettes with names ending '256' are 256 shades of a single colour. Those
ending in '16' have 16 shades of a colour repeated 16 times, useful in
Mandelbrots etc.
BRG - a sequence of pure Blue->Red->Green->Blue for colour cycling.
Default - the RiscOS default palette.
GGGRRBBB - the letters indicate the RGB values used in each colour, one
letter per bit.
Landscape & Landscape2 - use with 3d plots to give a terrain effect.
Logical - the default palette arranged in the order as used by BBC Basic,
ie. bit values of TTBBGGRR where T=Tint.
Lyapunov - The traditional colours used in Lyapunov photos.
Lyapunov2 - Gives an earie 3d spacey effect with Lyapunov images.
Primary - 32 shades of Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and 64 of
Grey. Use as a desktop palette to support better dithering of colours.
Rainbow - A progression from Red->Green->Blue and back with intermediary
colours.
RGB - the default palette arranged as BBGGRRTT where T=Tint.
The following palettes were ported from Fractint:
Blues, Chroma, FireStorm, Neon, Royal, Volcano.
Note that VGA palettes have only 6 bits resolution so are not as smooth as
the 8 bits supported by RiscOS 3.1.
