  1. This is RayPaint, an experimental application supplied
  2. with RayShade V4. I've adapted it for the Archimedes
  3. desktop with minimal support.

  5. Currently the parameters passed to the raytracer are set
  6. to -R 320 256; I've no intention of enhancing this
  7. unless there's a large demand.
  8.  
  9. RayPaint is an interesting variant of RayShade because
  10. it displays a full picture with increasing resolution.
  11. Unfortunately, it consumes a lot of memory (in excess
  12. of 1Mbyte) and takes far longer than Rayshade itself.

  14. Clicking with Select inside the display window makes the
  15. raytracer focus on that area; clicking with Adjust
  16. causes the raytracer to supersample in that area.
