  1. Kasoft Software
  2. End-User Licence Conditions for Unregistered Users of the File Box software
  3.  
  4. Before using the File Box software, please read the End-User Licence
  5. Conditions detailed below. If you do not promise to abide by the terms and
  6. conditions of the End-User Licence, please destroy the software. Usage of
  7. this software implies your agreement with the terms and conditions. Upon
  8. paying the registration fee, you will be sent an amended licence which
  9. extends you rights to use the software considerably.

  11. 1. Definitions
  12.  
  13. The following expressions have the meanings given here:
  14.  
  15. "Kasoft" means Kade Hansson, being either owner of all intellectual property
  16. rights in the Software, or having the right to grant licences of the
  17. Software.
  18.  
  19. "Software" means the File Box software, consisting of the relocatable module
  20. FileBox, the front end application !FileBox and any other support materials
  21. provided on the File Box disc.
  22.  
  23. "Documentation" means the File Box module documentation in whichever forms
  24. it is provided, whether printed or in the form of a file or document on the
  25. File Box disc.

  27. 2. Licence
  28.  
  29. Kasoft grants you a personal non-transferable non-exclusive licence (or
  30. sub-licence), as follows:
  31.  
  32. (1) You may copy the Software for back-up purposes, to support its use on
  33. one stand-alone computer system for evaluation purposes only.
  34.  
  35. (2) You must ensure that the copyright notices contained in the Software are
  36. reproduced and included in any copy of the Software.
  37.  
  38. (3) This licence expires after 60 days from the date which you received the
  39. Software. You must then delete and destroy the Software and Documentation
  40. and all copies you have.
  41.  
  42. You may not:
  43.  
  44. (i) copy only part of the Software; (ii) incorporate any part of the Software
  45. into other programs developed or used by you; (iii) alter any part of the
  46. Software; (iv) alter any part of the Documentation; or (v) copy the
  47. Documentation or any part thereof, unless it is included with all the
  48. parts of the supplied Software.

  50. 3. Term
  51.  
  52. This licence remains in effect unless you terminate it:
  53.  
  54. (1) by destroying all copies of the Software, and the Documentation,
  55. including the original, or
  56.  
  57. (2) by failing to comply with the Conditions
  58.  
  59. 4. Disclaimer of Liability
  60.  
  61. (1) The Software is supplied "as is"; Kasoft do not provide any warranty,
  62. whether express or implied, as to the merchantability of the Software or its
  63. fitness for any particular purpose.
  64.  
  65. (2) In no circumstances shall Kasoft be liable for any damage, loss of
  66. profit, goodwill or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your
  67. use, or your inability to use, the Software, even if Kasoft has been advised
  68. of the possibility of such loss.

  70. 5. General
  71.  
  72. These conditions supersede any prior oral or written agreements between
  73. you and Kasoft relating to the Software, unless overridden by specific
  74. clauses in those agreements.
