fsck is a disc utility that tries to fix the map of an E-Format disc (hard
or floppy) if it is corrupted for some obscure reason. fsck can also report
some information on the way the files are allocated (such as the bytes lost
because of sectors boundaries) and eventually print a detailed description
of the map and directory organization.
eliminate is a disc utility that eliminates a file from the directory but not
from the disc map. This means that the disc space used by the file is lost
(you will probably recover it using fsck). eliminate can effectively be useful
only to remove the files that cannot be deleted in the usual way by RISC OS
(for example a broken directory).

Have you ever wondered where all the free space on your hard disc has
gone? Do you want to know which directories consume most of your hard
disc space without having to count each directory using the filer?
This application shows a diagram of disc usage, displaying a bar for
each directory. The whole directory tree is cached so you can open
subdirectories similar to using a filer window.
