  10. fsck is a disc utility that tries to fix the map of an E-Format disc (hard
  11. or floppy) if it is corrupted for some obscure reason. fsck can also report
  12. some information on the way the files are allocated (such as the bytes lost
  13. because of sectors boundaries) and eventually print a detailed description
  14. of the map and directory organization.

  16. eliminate is a disc utility that eliminates a file from the directory but not
  17. from the disc map. This means that the disc space used by the file is lost
  18. (you will probably recover it using fsck). eliminate can effectively be useful
  19. only to remove the files that cannot be deleted in the usual way by RISC OS
  20. (for example a broken directory).

  28. Have you ever wondered where all the free space on your hard disc has
  29. gone? Do you want to know which directories consume most of your hard
  30. disc space without having to count each directory using the filer?
  31. This application shows a diagram of disc usage, displaying a bar for
  32. each directory. The whole directory tree is cached so you can open
  33. subdirectories similar to using a filer window.
