Ŵ !!ReadCat Information

This program is copyright but you are permitted to copy/modify the program
provided that you obey the conditions set out below:
* The program is not copied for profit. You are permitted to ask for a
"handling charge" to cover postage, work, advertising etc. and the
price of the disc (if supplied) but you may not charge money for the
software. You must copy the entire application.
* Any modifications should be sent to me so I can update the master
copies and assign a version number for your modified copy of the
program. This way we won't have any confusion over which version of a
program is the newest and everyone will be much happier.
You may not modify these licence conditions.
* The recipient of the program is made aware of these conditions.

!!ReadCat is the read only version of !!DisCat, a disc catalog and file
request program. Details on how to obtain the full version of !!DisCat are
at the end of this file.

You can start !!ReadCat up by either:
a) Double click on the !!ReadCat icon
b) Double click on a Catalog file
c) Double click on a directory containing a Catalog file.
Either way, !!ReadCat will load and install itself on the icon bar.
Having loaded a file into !!ReadCat a window is displayed showing the
contents of that file. You can then browse around the catalog to your
hearts content.
Ŵ Linking with !!Request
€!!Request is a program that allows you to build a list of files and/or
discs that you would like. Having loaded the program by double clicking on
the !!Request icon, you can drag a file from !!ReadCat (or !!DisCat) to
the !!Request icon or window, and that file will be added to the current
list.
The list can then be saved as a text file, or dragged to a text editor
(!Edit for example).

!!ReadCat and !!Request are Public Domain, and, subject to the
restrictions set out above, are freely distributable.

!!DisCat is a 'read/write' version of !!ReadCat, which allows you to
catalog your own discs in the same format as !!ReadCat.
!!DisCat is ŴNOT PUBLIC DOMAIN€, However, is is available ŴFREE€ by sending a
