  6. This program is FREEWARE. You may copy and
  7. distribute it freely on condition that you do not
  8. alter it in any way. You may not sell it, other
  9. than as part of a PD collection where a reasonable
  10. sum may be expected to cover costs.

  12. !zApp only works on RISC OS 3. It is in no way connected with the programming utility !Zap.

  14. This application replaces the Apps icon on your
  15. iconbar and when clicked-on gives you a window
  16. containing the normal ROM apps.
  17.  
  18. This is not a filer window. You can drag the
  19. application icons around in it and place them
  20. where you wish, and you can give them longer, more
  21. descriptive names. You can change these names by
  22. clicking directly on the name itself to gain the
  23. caret, or through the menus. More applications can
  24. be dragged into this window and also given long
  25. names. You can also set up a hierarchy of such
  26. windows through the menus.

  28. There is a Choices window which allows you to set
  29. certain options, namely the display font, whether
  30. the root window opens on startup, whether the
  31. program icon replaces the standard Apps icon on
  32. the iconbar or just sits next to it, and whether
  33. the choices are saved automatically.

  35. Clicking ADJUST on the iconbar icon will open the
  36. normal Resources:$.Apps folder. This, and the
  37. Resources root folder, are also available from the
  38. iconbar menu.
