  4. The state of Art is changing rapidly. In fact I ran into him in New 
  5. Mexico last month. Seems he had just gotten back from China where 
  6. he had seen their latest computer. It was really fantastic, but they 
  7. still have a problem with noise from the beads. I asked Art to clue me
  8. in on the latest devices coming out of research and these are the ones

  11. The Dont Gate.
  12. You dont get no output no matter whats at the inputs. It is believed 
  13. that the dont gate was the breakthrough that made the LSI write only 
  14. memory possible.

  16. Noise Emitting Diode (NED)
  17. When connected across a 1000 volt supply it makes a loud noise (once).
  18. The NED was discovered by Igor Pravaganda whom youll recall worked 
  19. many years  trying to filter AC with electrolytics. Hell always be 
  20. remembered as the father of the confetti generator.

  23. Highly experimental material. Very rare at present since only source 
  24. is from under grizzly bear toenails. Turns green when facing north 
  25. while on wood substrate.

  27. Phase Inverter With Variable Ground
  28. This tri-state inverting driver with a variable ground control input 
  29. is used in inexpensive D-A applications. It is usually installed with 
  30. option 001, a 72" copper grounding rod.

  45. Linear cousin of the DONT gate. Provides no output for any input at a
  46. slew rate of 0 volts per microsecond. Mil Spec. version available at 
  47. 100 times the cost of OEM version.
