  1.         The Readers Digest offer to give you one of three prizes -
  2.                         Prize A, Prize B, or Prize C.
  3. Prize A is the best of the three (A book on how to make friends and influence
  4. people!), Prize B is middling, and Prize C is the BOOBY Prize.
  5. You are to make a statement; if the statement is true then the Readers Digest
  6. promise to award either Prize A or Prize B, but if your statement is false,
  7. then you get the booby prize (Lifetime subscription?).
  8. Of course it is easy for you to be sure to win either Prize A or B; all you
  9. need say is:"Two plus Two is four". But suppose you have your heart set on
  10. Prize A - What statement could you make which would force the Readers Digest
  11. to give you Prize A?
