This simple version of the 3D pictures found in gadget and poster shops works surprisingly well on the Series 3a. To see the image in 3D, load the PIC file into one of the many viewers available - you will find a suitable viewer zipped with this file (it works with pics of any size, but does not show the grey plane - the 3D pic here doesn't have a grey plane).
The viewer (BWVIEW.APP) should go into any \APP\ directory.
The picture 3D.PIC should go into any \PIC\ directory.
Install BWVIEW .APP by pressing Psion-I from the system screen.
Viewing the image:
Load the image. Make sure the screen is well lit, so you get a good contrast image on the screen.
Hold the Series 3a at about one foot from your eyes. Try to relax your eyes and look THROUGH the screen (to about six inches beyond it) - the 3D image should come into focus.
If this doesn't work, try looking at the Word and Agenda labels above the touchpad, and make the two words converge... then look up to the screen - the image should come into view.
If that still doesn't work, hold the screen close to your face (so your nose is almost touching the Series 3a), looking ahead and relaxing your eyes. Then slowly draw it back (still looking THROUGH) the screen... when the S3a is about a foot away you should see the image in 3D.
