  6.   Welcome to issue two of Sounds Riscy's disc based magazine,
  7. Spectrum. There have been a few major changes since our last outing.
  8. We now have a few new members who are already established figures
  9. within the PD world. They are coder/artist Mike Williams,
  10. coder/artist Lovell Fuller (!Cat) and coder Gary J Lee. The Archive
  11. bit has been dropped due to lack of space and the fact that there is
  12. already a mag called Archive. As promised last issue, the mag code
  13. has been totally re-written; the people responsible for the new look
  14. being Ian (Wimp front-end) and Lovell (mag code).

  16.   The idea for the new-look mag was to produce a display program
  17. which would combine the features of of Risc OS such as outline fonts,
  18. interactive help and icons with a demo (stars, music, fast scrolling
  19. and GFX). I think you will agree that Lovell has fulfilled this aim
  20. with a great deal of success. What started as a bunch of PD reviews
  21. has turned into a full blown magazine with full price software and
  22. hardware reviews, lots of computer related articles, many
  23. non-computer related articles as well as the PD reviews. On top of all
  24. that you also get some clip art, a demo of our new game and even a
  25. questionnaire program, so you can send in your comments spending less
  26. time writing letters, and more time reading the mag.
