- A new demo from Flumpsoft.
-
- At least it was when it was released on Friday the 30th of March, 1990, late in the evening.
-
- For those of you too apprehensive to actually run the demo, it's by me, The
- Flump, or Ian Griffiths for preference. It's got a scrolltext, stars and
- music by Alt_Man, but then again what hasn't? However, it's main feature
- is it's real time image distortion. Not too impressive in this demo, cos
- running in MODE 15, with a scrolltext, stars and music sort of cuts down
- your available bandwidth. Indeed some unscrupulous fellows seem to think
- that this in itself constitutes an entire demo, but not I. My demo has a
- Flumpkin, (small stupid looking character, not at all based upon my self,
- merely something that's stunningly easy to knock up on any decent art
- package, and also Atelier) wandering around a globe, in much the same manner
- as one would expect from a Quantel Paintbox.. All mathematically correct
- too, and at 50 frames a second.
-
- So what are you waiting for? Run the demo right away, what's stopping you?
- Or have you already? Well what are you reading this for? Go and run it
- again.
-
-
- Thanks to Alt_Man (Hugo Fiennes) for inspiring me and others to write demos.
-
- No thanks whatsoever to Minerva for creating Atelier and generally making extortionate amounts of money for overrated pieces of software.
-
-
- 1990 Ian David Griffiths.
