  11.     Ah Ha! You are obviously someone who likes to read !Help files. Well as
  12. a reward for your efforts I will give you some extra pointers about this
  13. demo.
  14.     Double click on the exterminator icon and watch the desktop disapear,
  15. when, eventauly, you reach the main menu screen you can select from the
  16. following:

  18. 1) Joystick
  19.     This is the built in game, a flight sim written using "Flight Sim Tool
  20. Kit" select GO to get straight into the action or HELP to find out how to 
  21. play, you can return to the menu during the game by pressing "escape" once.
  22. Select the forward or backwards boxes to cycly through the intructions.
  23. Press the midle/menu button to return to the GO/HELP option. Press the
  24. middle/menu button to return to the main menu.

  26. 2) Speaker
  27.     This will present you with 3 Sound Tracker tunes you can have playing in
  28. the background, simply select the CD of your choice. Select the ON/OFF words
  29. to operate the internal speaker and use the sliders to alter the volume and
  30. the stereo positions. Press the midle/menu button to return to the main
  31. menu.

  33. 3) Monitor
  34.     This will load the main "kicking" part of the mega demo..... Just sit
  35. back and read the scroll text while marvaling at the amazing effects
  36. achieved using "DemoFx"

  39.     This Demo was written by Peter Reeves-Hall and I can be contacted via
  40. "Chaos Information BBS" OR "The Borg". You will find me under the username
  41. of Peter Rh (user no #434 , #9 respectivly), So if you have access to a
  42. modem why not drop me a line? and tell me what you think of this demo
  43. (please be nice). I will try to reply to any messages.
  44.     This Mega Demo is PD and can be copied and distributed to everyone you
  45. know as long as the following is observed: 
  46.  
  47. 1) all files making up this demo are copied un-altered and together. 
  48. 2) a nominal fee of less than 2pounds is may be made by PD libraries to
  49.    cover postage, disc's and other costs
  50. 3) Itis used in good spirit ie. You don't complain if it does something
  51.    nasty to your computer (not that I can see how it can!)

  57.     This demo is really only gives the best performance when run on an ARM 3
  58. based (or higher?!) machine. It should give quite a good responce on an ARM
  59. 250 machine as well but since I have not got one to hand at the time of
  60. writting then I cannot confirm this....
  61.     All I can say is that if you have got an ARM 2 machine then UPGRADE!

  63.    1 Mb users should be able to get this demo to run if they do a bit of
  64. memory managment first. Do a reset (Ctrl+Break) and do not run any other
  65. programs/modules beforehand. Switch to a low memory screen mode such as Mode
  66. 12 if needed and make sure there are no RAM discs or too much memory
  67. allocated to system sprite area's and the like.
