  1. Demo Disk ReadMe

  3. To use the PipeDream on the demonstration disk, you must have the 
  4. correct version of the Archimedes 'C' library loaded. This is supplied 
  5. on the demonstration disk. If you have not yet run any applications in 
  6. your machine since you started, you can just double-click on 
  7. the PipeDream icon on the disk to start PipeDream. PipeDream will then 
  8. automatically load the correct version of the 'C' library from the 
  9. demonstration disk.

  11. If you have been using any applications in your Archimedes, then you 
  12. will almost certainly have a 'C' library already loaded. In this case, 
  13. if you click on the PipeDream icon on the demonstration disk, you may 
  14. well get the message "Needs shared C library 3.4 or later". If you 
  15. don't get this message, PipeDream will start and you can carry on to 
  16. use the demonstration.

  18. If you get this message, then take the following steps:
  19.  
  20. 1.   Quit all the applications which you have on your icon bar.
  21.  
  22. 2.   Double-click on the !System directory on the PipeDream 
  23.      demonstration disk. This will remove the older 'C' library 
  24.      from your machine.
  25.  
  26. 3.   Double-click on the PipeDream icon on the demonstration 
  27.      disk. PipeDream will load and install itself on the icon 
  28.      bar.
