  1. !FARTHING-YOUR ACCOUNTS

  3. The full version of !Pennies uses multiple data directories so that
  4. you can have many different sets of data.  These sets of data are
  5. stored in pre-structured application type directories and one is
  6. supplied here - !Pennydata. To make use of it merely copy it to
  7. another location then double click on it. !Farthing will load and run
  8. using the data within this new directory. This data consists of the
  9. essential raw data such as menus and directories within which accounts
  10. are stored. There are no accounts stored in this directory initially
  11. except for an RPI file - it is for you to create your own accounts
  12. using the facilities within the !Pennies application.

  14. Double clicking on !Farthing directly will load and run it using
  15. it's own internal !Pennydata directory which contains the
  16. demonstration data, if you wish to replace this data with another
  17. fresh set see below.

  19. SINGLE FLOPPY USERS
  20.  
  21. For convenience you should replace the existing !Pennydata directory
  22. within the !Farthing application directory with this new one to enable
  23. both the program and the data to run from one floppy - this will avoid
  24. having to change discs during the initial loading and when using any
  25. Help texts. The original !Pennydata directory contains the
  26. demonstration data and this can be recovered for future use from the
  27. original compressed version if required. To run !Farthing with your
  28. own data just double click over !Farthing, it will load and run with
  29. the new data directory allowing you to create your own set of data.
