- Digital Symphony, is an 8 channel sound sequencing package, based completely
- in the Risc Os Desktop environment. Digital Symphony, will allow the
- inexperienced user, to achieve stunning musical results due to it's easy to
- use nature, just like the Archimedes itself, but also offers a range of
- intricate, sophisticated facilities, making even the most experienced feel
- at home.
-
- In the past Soundtrack editors for the Archimedes, have merely imitated
- similar packages for such machines as the Amiga. Now Digital Symphony, is
- set to change this by offering new features, and effects, not possible using
- packages on any other home computer or even the Archimedes before now.
-
- Digital Symphony is the first and only Soundtrack editor, to have a
- playroutine, that will play ProTracks, or original SoundTrackers, absolutely
- 100% faithful, to how they were originally composed. Other inferior
- soundtrack play routines/editors, do not fully implement the effects used by
- such packages, and therefore are not able to cope with some of the more
- sophisticated pieces of music.
-
- Digital Symphony has a list of some 40 effects, which can be applied to an
- instrument, or sample in conjunction with each other, producing amazing
- results limited by the imagination alone, and allowing you to produce the
- exact effect that you require.
-
- Digital Symphony, is of course completely midi compatible, notes can be
- entered, into the track using, a keyboard, drum-pack, or any other midi
- compatible instrument, in Real-time via means of a midi interface.
-
- Digital Symphony is the first and only, sequencing package to display the
- track, in standard musical notation form as notes on a stave, in addition,
- to the usual sequencer pattern lists.
-
-
- Features of Digital Symphony include:
-
- Up to 4095 Patterns Up to 4095 Sequence Positions
- Up to 64 Instrument Samples 40 different special effects
- Built in Sample Editing Suite Written in Pure Arm code
- Fully MIDI Compatible Foreign File Import/Export
- Flexible Cut and Pate options Fully Multitasking, with Custom windows
- Notes displayed on Musical Stave 100% accurate Real-time Recording
- Files compressed to ½ normal size
-
-
- Digital Symphony is supplied with:
-
- Maestro to Digital Symphony Converter.
- OctaMED to Digital Symphony Converter.
- Detailed illustrated Users manual.
- Resource discs, crammed with Sound Samples and Symphonies.
- Play Module for use in Games or Demos along with help notes.
-
- Digital Symphony, without doubt, offers the most comprehensive list of
- useful features, and yet is still the lowest priced commercial sound track
- editor available for the Archimedes.
