  3. This little application changes all SWI's in your basic progs to there
  4. numeric values and therefore providing (sometimes) quite a significent
  5. speed increase.
  6.  
  7. To use it double-click to load, Then drag your BASIC program to the icon
  8. a save box will pop up. Enter the name to save the converted program as.
  9. (You have to use a different name from original, but when its converted
  10. just delete the original and rename the conversion).
  11. Then drag the save icon to where you want it saved. The conversion process
  12. will then begin.
  13.  
  14. I have tried this on various programs and got some good speed inprovements,
  15. Try it with MAESTRO, EUCLID (making sure you use a backup copy).

  17. This program has been converted with itself to provide faster convertions.
  18. I am currently working on a version to go the other way, ie from Numeric to
  19. string - so this will be available soon..ish.

  21. I wrote this program many moons ago whem my wimp programing wasnt up to much
  22. and i based it on a skeleton program published in ACORN USER
  23.  
  24. Look out for my !Phone program its quite good, (Should be appearing in
  25. A&B computing (Archimedes world) soon. or so they tell me.)
