  9.      This program has been specially designed by our team of professionaly 
  10.    trained programmers for use in conjunction with a DTP package. It 
  11.    allows you to create your very own 'Designer Signature'.
  12.      To create your signature, load the program by 'double-clicking' on it's 
  13.    icon. When loaded it's icon will appear on the icon-bar, click on it and
  14.    the main window will open. Click the mouse over the small white box next 
  15.    to the word 'Signature' at the bottom of the window. The caret will appear
  16.    , type your name and then press <RETURN> and the signature will be created
  17.    . You can now save the signature as a sprite by clicking the menu button
  18.    over the main window and following the arrow across from 'Save' you can 
  19.    now save the sprite in the normal Risc-Os way.

  24.           -We are a couple of A-Level students from Burleigh Community 
  25.            College in Loughborough with nothing better to do than this 
  26.            program.

  28. Useless Facts

  31.           -During the many hard hours of programming to bring this stupendous
  32.            piece of programming to your screens no coffee was consumed and no
  33.            Big-Macs were eaten and no Apple Macs were smashed up with
  34.            sledgehammers (It took lots of self control to let those nasty 
  35.            machines live!!).

  37.           -This program took approximately 2 years of hard work to complete.
  38.            (Well.. 1 day two years ago and 1 day this year.)
  39.  
  40.           -None of our expert team of programmers come from Norway (or 
  41.            Sweden, Germany, France, Denmark, or Outer-Mongolia)
  42.  
  43.           -No use of the PRM's were required to program this piece of pure 
  44.            BASIC V on this powerful (old and now superceded by the A5000) 
  45.            A420/1 which happens to belong to Burleigh Community College.

  52.           -Hugo Fiennes for his Tracker Module which we didn't use because 
  53.            of it's high requirement on CPU time which would slow our program
  54.            down to much. (Not really! it just isn't needed!)

  57.            piece of software.

  59.           -Acorn for producing this marvellous computer (excellent for naff 
  60.            signature programs!!!!)

  62.           -Acorn for their ARM3, RISCOS3 and A5000 (We are willing to test 
  63.            one!!) which now make my A440/1 and Glyn's A3000 OLD!!!

  65.           -BIA for something but we can't remember what!!!! (oh yes!! The

  69.            AND when is !Bananaland being released?? (!Ba was released ages
  70.            ago).

  77.   Once upon a time there was a pink chicken with seven heads, long blonde    
  78. hair four legs and a talent for singing. He called himself Chesney Hawkes 
  79. and released a record. It was a load of plop but got to number 1 anyway. 
  80. His later releases were even worse and everyone forgot about him. He now 
  81. has a career with a circus.

  85.    The excellent (ha, ha) Chesney has now won many awards for being the 
  86. biggest flop at everything at the 'Smash Hits Poll Winners Party 1991' 
  87. (Wasn't that the biggest pile of trash ever broadcast on TV????).

  112. one in our !Poetry program the reason is, this is a version which has been
  113. edited by me (Glyn) and is almost the same as the one in !Poetry which was
  114. created by myself and Mr. James Miskin Esq. (I did the naff sprite as well,
  115. I can't draw!! (as you can more than likely see).
