  1. Tidy Disc Version 1.09 12/03/93

  3. This application has three purposes:-
  4.  
  5. 1. To standardise the most common application files (See list below), the
  6.    filename we be formatted exactly as listed below ie:-
  7.                  !SPRITES  will be renamed to !Sprites
  8.                  !RUNImage will be renamed to !RunImage etc.....
  9.  
  10. 2. Files that take the same number of 1K blocks (1024bytes) are uncompressed, as
  11.    there will be no space saved by compressing them.
  12.    All files are stored in blocks and if they do not fit the rest of the block is
  13.    unused ie.
  14.      If a file = 1050bytes this is 1 block and 26 bytes, the total disc space used
  15.      for this file is 2048 byte (2 blocks), If this file compressed down to 1025
  16.      bytes it would still used 2 blocks of disc space, Thus it is not worth
  17.      compressing.

  19. 3. Archive files and files that do not gain anything from being compressed by CFS are decompressed.
  20.  
  21. Filenames that are standardized.
