  9. This is a FREEWARE version of Disc Commander, the
  10. powerful new Archimedes disc toolkit from Digital
  11. Phenomena.

  13. Specifications
  14. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  15. This demo version is identical to the full version
  16. apart from a number of options which have been
  17. removed. All features implemented remain fully
  18. functional. The main features that have been removed
  19. are the disc backup, floppy scramble and the save
  20. routines in the disc editor.
  21. Some of the self-checking routines have also been
  22. removed, therefore regular virus scanning is
  23. recommended to ensure that Disc Commander
  24. itself does not become virus infected or corrupted.
  25. The full version incorporates extensive selfchecking
  26. to protect against this.
  27. However, all the virus scanning features and menu
  28. structures are implemented in full.

  51. Digital Phenomena supply FREE upgrades and support to
  52. all Disc Commander users. Upgrades can be obtained by
  53. sending a blank, formatted 800K (E) format disc and SAE
  54. to the address above. Please state which version you
  55. are currently using.

  60. to copyright. However, you are free to copy this demo
  61. version as much as you like and give copies to others
  62. on the condition that;
  63. a) No profit is made in the process. You can make a small
  64.    nominal charge for media and postage.
  65. b) All files within the !Commander directory remain intact
  66.    and unaltered, including this one.
  67. c) This program is NOT PD and thus is 'Freeware'. However,
  68.    if you would like to include in a PD library, this may
  69.    be ok, but please obtain written permission from us first.
