  1. Hi fellow users!

  3.  Welcome to !ModuleUtil the   +------------+
  4. utility that allows you to    |Version 1.03|
  5. look at any module from       | Feb 1993   |
  6. within the desktop without    +------------+
  7. having to use the CLI, or
  8. without even having to type in it's name, just
  9. point with the mouse and click. As well as being
  10. able to examine each module, you can kill them!
  11.  Instructions are as follows:
  12.  Double-clicking on the icon in the directory
  13. viewer installs the program, with an icon on the
  14. icon bar. Clicking the menu button brings up a
  15. menu with Info, Quit, Help (this text) and CLI
  16. (which is a multitasking alternative to pressing
  17. F12 and typing with the desktop scrolling up
  18. away. CLI and Help are available from all
  19. windows from this utility.
  20.  If you press Select on the icon on the
  21. icon bar, a window comes up with a list of all
  22. modules present when memory was last scanned.
  23. Press 'Top', or 'Bottom' and the top, or
  24. bottom of the list will be shown.
  25. Click on the name of a module and another
  26. window will appear with information about that
  27. module. If you want further information about
  28. a command that the module may provide, then
  29. click Select over the command name. The CLI
  30. window will appear with it programmed to
  31. provide help on that command. If you do not
  32. want help on a command, just execute it, then
  33. pressing Adjust over the module command name
  34. will execute it. To kill the module selected,
  35. you press menu over the window and select Kill.
  36. When the module info window is open you can
  37. return to the module list by selecting List
  38. from the menu.
  39.  If at all you think the module list needs
  40. updating, then select Re-Scan from a menu,
  41. this will re-scan memory for the modules
  42. present.
  43.  The most complicated window is probably the
  44. CLI window, so I shall attempt to explain it.
  45. The text icon is where you type in the cli
  46. commands, to execute the command press the
  47. Enter icon. WimpTask executes it like the
  48. Task Manager. Window executes it and displays
  49. the output in the window. The BASIC, IDEFS,
  50. ADFS, HELP icons just type themselves into
  51. the text icon. The cross in the top right
  52. closes the window.
