  17. What the program does:

  19. This proggy basically speeds up the rate at which the MEMC chip
  20. accesses the ROMs, where the OS is stored. This has the effect of
  21. speeding everything up, in fact the speed increase is greater than
  22. that gained by using ROMFASTER.

  26. If you are using the machine for a long time, you may well begin to
  27. experience crashes (at least you do on a warm day and my A3000 as
  28. there is no fan) as the ROMs do not particularily like being clocked
  29. that fast. I have heard of this idea before and some people reported
  30. that old 310s were getting their ROMs ruined. I know a lot of people
  31. who use this programme however, and they have never had any problems.
  32. Come to think of it, I am the only person who has even experienced a
  33. crash!

  35. I don't think there is much of a risk as the people mentioned above
  36. and myself have been running our machines for over a year like this,
  37. but if your ROMs go to the great anti-static pad in the sky DON"T
  38. BLAME ME!!!!
