  4. !Explain was written to find out how annoying it would be if the pointer was
  5. permanently dragging a window around behind it! Once I'd written that code
  6. it was a natural progression to make it do something and !Explain is the
  7. result.

  9. !Explain supports three new messages which allow external control of the
  10. help bubble. The directory Apps contains c.balloon and h.intalk which
  11. implement this external control.

  17. On RISC OS 3.10 and 3.11 machines which don't have the WimpSymbols font
  18. (most of them I assume) the arrow used to indicate 'shift' (⇧) will not
  19. appear. The only help message I've found that uses this symbol is the one
  20. about shift dragging the selection on the desktop.

  22. Once the WimpSymbols font is installed this symbol will magically appear
  23. where appropriate.

  25. Solution: Find WimpSymbols from somewhere (a RiscPC for example). BTW I
  26. didn't suggest this because I'm sure it is a breach of the RISC OS 3.5
  27. licence agreement to propagate the built in fonts to one's friends.

  32. Make it look more like Mac bubble help by caching a bubble in a sprite then
  33. dragging that in the same way that DragASprite works.

  41. notice and don't sell it for profit without asking me first. If you do want
