  3. A utility to show average CPU usage
  4. ===================================
  5. Once loaded,a black icon will appear on the icon bar will a number in it.
  6. This is the number of centiseconds it takes to do one loop of all the tasks.
  7. Unlike Acorns CPU usage monitor,the AMFsoft version averages the result over
  8. 25 loops.For example,say you have an application such as !Scroll,that
  9. scrolls at a constant rate but not all the time.If you were using Acorns CPU
  10. usage monitor,the graph would keep rising and falling,where as with the
  11. AMFsoft version,an average is given,so you can tell the real CPU usage.

  13. Recommended use

  15. There are two recommended ways to use !CPU_Usage.
  16. One is to load a single !CPU_Usage and the task you wish to test.Move the
  17. pointer onto the backdrop and let the monitor settle.

  19. The second is to load three !CPU_Usages and the task you wish to test.As
  20. before,move the pointer onto the backdrop and let all the monitors settle.
  21. If all the monitors show roughly the same number,then this is a good
  22. indication of usage.

  24. This program is mainly intended for program development,to check if your new
  25. routine really is faster,or not.
