  1. I've also place within this copy of !Executor a 'PhoneDay'
  2. utility. It allows anyone to check and alter their phone
  3. numbers. See below.

  6. How to use
  7. -----------

  10. You can use this 'PhoneDay' application in two ways.
  11.  
  12. 1.
  13. With any program containing a writable icon which contains a phone number.
  14. For example a DataBase field, etc. 
  15.

  17. 2.
  18. If you use Impression Style, Publisher or Plus by
  19. selecting the phone number line in a document.
  20.  
  21.  
  22. But first load the application !Executor onto the Iconbar.

  24. Method 1.
  25. ^^^^^^^^^
  26. Place the caret within the writable icon field that
  27. contains the phone number and press the keyboard combination
  28. '<ALT> Q'.
  29. If the phone number needs changing then the current number
  30. in the field will be deleted and the new number inserted and a carriage
  31. return entered. If the number does not need changing then nothing will happen.

  33. Alternatively you can do an '<ALT> SELECT' press to start it if you prefer.

  36. Instead of pressing a key, double click on !Phoneday1 to achieve the same end!

  40. Method 2.
  41. ^^^^^^^^^
  42. Load your Impression document and look for any line of text containing
  43. the phone number. Triple click on the line so that the whole line is
  44. highlighted or if you prefer just highlight the whole phone number.

  46. Press <ALT> W and if the number requires changing then the new number
  47. will be instantly substituted!

  49. Or...
  50. Instead of pressing a key, double click on !Phoneday2 to achieve the same end!

  53. Finally...
  54. Resave your file once it has been altered.

  58. Keystroke owners could set it up to automatically go through their database fields, records, etc. updating their files quickly and without error.
