  7.   This file describes the terms and conditions under which the FreeNet
  8.   TCP/IP stack and its accompanying tools and drivers have been released
  9.   as Freeware products. Please note that the items covered by these
  10.   conditions have *not* been placed in the public domain. The copyright
  11.   of these items remains with the authors, and no part of this package
  12.   should be copied or passed on except as allowed below.

  14.   The FreeNet module itself, together with the SLIP driver, the finger
  15.   client and the documentation for all of these is copyright (C) Tom
  16.   Hughes 1995, and may only be passed on as described below.

  18.   The whois and traceroute clients are ports of BSD software, and as such
  19.   are subject to the BSD licence which can be found in the file 'BSD' which
  20.   accompanies this FreeNet distribution. The ports themselves is also
  21.   copyright (C) Tom Hughes 1995 and is subject to the distribution conditions
  22.   specified below.

  24.   The InetLoop loopback driver is copyright (C) Adam Goodfellow 1995 and
  25.   may only be distributed on subject to the conditions in the supplied
  26.   documentation for these items, or as part of a FreeNet distribution (which
  27.   is subject to the terms below).

  29.   The INetDB module which provides DNS support and the ping and nslookup
  30.   clients are ports of BSD software, and as such are subject to the BSD
  31.   licence which can be found in the file 'BSD' which accompanies this
  32.   FreeNet distribution. The ports themselves are also copyright (C) Adam
  33.   Goodfellow 1995 and are subject to the distribution conditions in the
  34.   relevant documentation.

  38.   These distribution conditions apply to any distribution of the whole
  39.   FreeNet package, or of the parts of it which are described above as
  40.   being (C) Tom Hughes. Other parts may be distributed on their own as
  41.   allowed in the relevant documentation file.

  43.   This software may be distributed from/by any individual, Internet FTP
  44.   site, BBS system or PD library, provided that no charge is made for so
  45.   doing other than to cover reasonable distribution costs. Any distribution
  46.   of FreeNet which is intended to make a profit for the distibutor is
  47.   expressly prohibited.

  49.   I also requre that any copies you do pass on should be exact copies
  50.   of the original distribution archive, and not copies of your own
  51.   customised setup. The latest version of the FreeNet distribution, in

  57.   me first to obtain permission, which allows me to at least ensure that
