  4. This is a block driver module. You require a block driver compatible
  5. comms program to make use of it.
  6.  
  7. This is a very small modification of the standard 'Internal' block
  8. driver which gives three extra baudrates: 38400, 57600 and 115200.
  9. When the comms program attempts to set these rates, the block
  10. driver bashes the hardware directly (the 82C710/711, only present
  11. in the A5000, A4, A3010, A3020, A4000) to program the faster rate.

  13. I give no guarantees about what speed you'll be able to actually
  14. get, error free, on your machine, but it's worth a try. I seem
  15. to be able to get 57,600 (actual thoroughput of about 2,500 cps)
  16. without problems on my bog-standard 40Mb A5000.
