  1.                        RISC OS 3 Applications Discs

  4. These discs contain applications for use with RISC OS 3.  Most of the
  5. applications are not suitable for use with earlier versions of RISC OS.
  6.  
  7. Disc App1 contains some applications and files which are essential for
  8. everyday use of RISC OS - although basic use of RISC OS is possible without
  9. this disc it is required to allow some of the more advanced facilities to
  10. work.  This disc also contains applications to support printing using a
  11. printer connected either directly to the RISC OS computer or to a network
  12. into which the computer is also connected.

  14. Disc App2 contains various utility applications which you may find useful,
  15. some games and "printer definition files" for a variety of commonly
  16. available printers - if you have a printer you will need these when you
  17. first set the printer system up.

  19. You should make copies of these discs as soon as possible, keeping the
  20. originals in a safe place in case the copies get damaged.  You will probably
  21. want to rearrange the applications on the discs, so that a single disc
  22. contains all the tools which you find most useful.  See the RISC OS 3

  24. the discs.
