  3. These discs are in an unmodified form, except that some of the contents
  4. have been archived using ArcFS to make it more convenient to store them
  5. on the CD. You may therefore find that some applications do not work
  6. correctly or indeed at all. Some of the earlier programs were written to
  7. run on Arthur for example, or use explicit pathnames, which will of
  8. course have been changed in transfering the files to this CD.
  9.  
  10. One tip which might get older programs to work. Copy it/them to a blank
  11. disc in drive :0. Now *MOUNT that disc and try again.
