  5. Å  Inter Series on Disc!!! Ö Computer Concepts have bowed to pressure
  6. from various quarters and are now selling Inter-Word, Inter-Sheet,
  7. Inter-Chart and Spell-Master on disc. (ú29, ú29, ú19 and ú39 respec
  8. tively, all + VAT, cf ú39, ú39, ú25 and ú51.30 for the ROM versions.)
  9. They still work under the emulator and there is no ROM-LINK facility as
  10. there is on the BBC micro versions. (Archive prices are ú30, ú30, ú20
  11. and ú41 inclusive of VAT + p&p.)

  13. Å  Desktop Enhancer Enhanced! Ö The new version has options to copy read
  14. only files during backup and to boot floppy disc from the FDD icon menu.
  15. Mitre Software have also added a utility to change the machine con
  16. figuration without <ctrl-break>. Existing users can return their discs
  17. with an S.A.E. for a free up-grade. (Other software houses, please

  31. Å  Colour Convertor Ö Lingenuityæs single width podule (ú169.95 +VAT) Ö
  32. converts the Watford  digitiser into full colour! Hardware controls of
  33. both contrast and saturation of the separate colours. Controlling
  34. software is mouse driven and allows you to save a picture, scale it or
  35. set the parameters for the hardware controls. They hope it will be

  39. driven control panel with on-screen help which will allow you to set up
  40. the configuration of your machine including loading standard configura

  44. Å  Xample Story Ö the presentation graphics package from Holland,
  45. mentioned in last monthæs review from the PC Show (page 7) is now being
  46. distributed by Lingenuity.

  49. the September issue is now also being distributed by Lingenuity. They
  50. are providing the disc and the documentation (see the review on page 52)

  54. Å  BASIC Compilers Ö the two new BASIC compilers, one from Dabs Press at
  55. ú99.95 inclusive and the other from Silicon Vision also at ú99.95 should
  56. both be ready by the time you read this. We hope to have a comparative

  59. Å  Links to Psion Organiser Ö XOB have written ARCPERX which runs under
  60. the 6502 emulator and uses the 1MHz bus on the I/O podule to link up to
  61. a Psion Organiser.

  63. Å  DFS utilities Ö CJE Micros do a DFS utilities disc for ú20 inclusive
  64. which allows you to read and write and format DFS discs from the
  65. Archimedes Ö it will even read dual catalogue discs.

  67. Å  Multi-syncs galore Ö Solidisk Technology have several multi-sync
  68. monitors for the Archimedes. If you want colour, thereæs the Quadram at
  69. ú300 or the TVM/MD11 at ú329 but if you want the high resolution but
  70. arenæt worried about having colour, they have two grey scale multi-
  71. syncs, NEC and TVM, both ú159. All the monitors mentioned are 14ö and to
  72. all the prices you need to add VAT and carriage. (I havenæt seen any of
  73. them Éin the fleshæ, so weæd welcome comments from anyone who has.)

  76. the power of System Delta Plus Ö a fully relational report-writer with
  77. averaging, totalling etc. Should be available by the time you get this

  86. produced ArcImEd, the art package that generates program listings. Itæs
  87. a drawing packagedesigned for dot matrix printers. On demonstration it

  89. output.
