for creating a new mode 30.
Charts01
This is the first tutorial in the series "Charts from the Beginning".
One reason for delaying the start of this series has been the 'regular'
improvements in PipeDreamá4's charts package which I have received from
Colton Software between version 4.10 and 4.13. Although there may be
some improvements in the 'pipeline' I don't believe that an upgrade to
version 4.14 is imminent - so we'll make a start - Gerald L Fitton
ChiSquare1
A spreadsheet for doing the chi squared statistical test
on a table up to 5 by 4 - Ian Johnson

Inventors
Yet another contribution of elegant simplicity by Paul Riley.

you can print a suitable KeyStrip. M D Tomkinson has provided such a
KeyStrip file in !Draw format.
Labels03
Mike Hobbs explains the simple way in which he prints his labels.
Labels04
A file missing from the PipeDreamá4 Examples disc - Gerald L Fitton

columns than the standard mode 12. These modes can be displayed on a
standard (type 0) monitor - David J Holden
MultiFile2
MultiFiles were a documented feature of PipeDreamá3 which are supported
but not documented in the PipeDreamá4 Reference Guide - Susan Lindley
NomLedger
Bill Foyster uses this spreadsheet as a business application.
OffScreen
If our PipeLine files disappear off your screen then this may be
because of the way you have configured your RISCáOSá3 - Gerald L Fitton
Printing02
There are are more letters about printing from PipeDream sent to
Abacus Training than there is on any other single topic.
This is an attempt by Gerald L Fitton to stem the flow!
R_Files
One filer option is to make files Read only. Albert W Kitchenside
explains some of the risks you run when copying such files!
[Because of the way in which I construct the PipeLine discs I have
problems with locked files - I 'converted' some of Albert's locked
files to Read only and we nearly lost them -GLF]

Gareth Lloyd had a problem which he believed should be solved using ^#
as part of a Search & Replace string. It failed to work but this is
how he worked around it.

Keith Matthews' database, now updated to June 1992, shows annualised
inflation rate changes since 1970 'averaged' over periods ranging from
3 months to 4 years. Keep it up to date in one minute per month!
SalaryTax
Steve Harratt describes a short application which he uses regularly to
check his pay slips. It calculates standard stoppages to within ú1.00.
Stats3
Robert Macmillan of Colton Software has submitted more custom

statisticians. They may also be of interest to people interested in
writing custom functions as they demonstrate a number of the more
