  20. Since the recent substantial reduction in the price of PipeDreamá4 
  21. PipeLine has gained many new subscribers who are also new to PipeDream.  
  22. I have received requests from these new users (and some 'old' ones) for 
  23. an elementary guide to using PipeDream.

  25. I am indebted to Ernie Cobbold for making his excellent text book for 
  26. beginners called "Elementary PipeDream" available to PipeLine 
  27. subscribers as a set of three discs.  Between them the discs contain 17 
  28. files in Spark compressed format; the third disc contains files which 
  29. are used as part of the exercises and 'answers' to problems set as part 
  30. of the tutorials.
