On behalf of a correspondent in New Zealand, Roger has asked me how to
display a hard space in System font. This is part of my reply.
Dear Roger
I wonder if the following system font does what you want.
If you double click on the file [HardSpace] then you will load a system
font into the screen driver which displays the character <Alt 160> as a
hard space.
Here is an example of a hard space - today is Sundayá7tháMarchá1993.
You can revert to the standard system character set by double clicking
on the file [Standard].
The hard space prints as a hard space (not the character you see on
the screen). The 'soft' space prints in the usual way.
I hope that this helps your New Zealand correspondent.
Gerald
