Extracting the application
--------------------------
The application !Nuke is contained in the inner archive nuke-i/zip in this
directory. This reason for this hierarchical structure is explained below
in the section 'Authentication'.
WARNING!!!
----------
Careless use of !Nuke may result in permanent loss of your data. Read the
!Help file inside the inner archive before attempting to use this software.
Distribution site
-----------------
The primary distribution site for this software is
http://web.bham.ac.uk/N.M.Queen/pgp/acorn.html
and copies obtained from any other source should be considered valid only if
the archive is byte-identical to the one obtained from that site.
Authentication
--------------
If you are confident that you have obtained a valid copy of this software,
you may ignore this section.
Assuming that you know how to use PGP, you can use it to check that your
copy of the inner archive has not been corrupted or altered in any way. For
this purpose, detached signatures of the author, Tony Hopstaken, and of the
owner of the distribution site, Nat Queen, are included in this directory as
the files sigH/asc and sigQ/asc. If either of these signatures does not
validate the archive, you should assume that your copy is corrupt.
The appropriate public keys must be on your keyring in order to check the
signatures. These public keys can be downloaded from the distribution site
or from the PGP key servers. For details on checking detached signatures,
consult the PGP documents.
PGP can be obtained from the URL given above.
