  17. 2.01ß9 also uses Dickon Hood's socketwatch module, which is included inside
  18. !ModInst application. Please run !ModInst to add socketwatch to your !System
  19. before running this version of POPstar.

  22. see the example users file for information on the extra options.

  24. There are now two POPstar mailing lists - an announcement one, and a
  25. discussion list. (announcements are copied to the discussion list, so you
  26. only need to join one of the two.)

  67. **** KNOWN PROBLEMS - Argonet users only *****

  69. Only one known problem, and this is the mechanism for skipping
  70. overly large messages does _NOT_ work with the mail server
  71. at Argonet. This doesn't appear to be a bug in POPstar itself,
  72. and Argonet (allegedly) acknowledge the problem and say it has
  73. a workaround.
  74. POPstar already uses the workaround (unless you have overridden
  75. OverSizeMsgLines in the config file), yet apparently still
  76. shows the symptoms of the problem - which is that when POPstar
  77. asks for a message header, it gets the whole message, with the
  78. end result that the message gets fetched twice in total.

  80. NB. 99% of the above is second hand information, as I don't
  81. have an Argonet account. I'm currently waiting for Argonet
  82. support to get back to me about this - but it's now been over a
  83. week and I'm starting to lose hope.

  85. For the moment, do not set a maximum size for users that are on
  86. Argonet's mail server!

  94. Please read the Installation guide in the Help file first, if installing for
  95. the first time or upgrading from a version prior to 1.20.
