  6. The Address Book can contain a list of email addresses, each with a
  7. more easily remembered name.
  8.  
  9. The Name can be used in the To, Cc, Bcc, and Reply-To fields of the
  10. Write Mail window.  When the mail message is posted, these Names are
  11. translated to the corresponding email addresses.  An error is
  12. flagged if a Name is not recognised.

  15. Viewing the Address Book
  16. ========================

  18. The contents of the Address Book can be shown by either:
  19.    1.  Selecting the "Address Book" option from the Pluto icon bar icon.
  20.    2.  Pressing F7 in the Write Mail window.
  21.    3.  Selecting "Addr Book" from the Write Mail window menu.

  23. The Address Book menu allows the Address Book to be sorted by either:
  24.    Name        - the full name.
  25.    Last Name   - the surname, or last word of the name.
  26.    Address     - the email address.
  27.    Colour      - (see below).

  30. Adding to the Address Book

  33. The email address of the sender of the currently displayed article
  34. in the Article Viewer can be added to the Address Book by pressing
  35. F7 in the Article Viewer window.

  37. Entries can also be added to the Address Book by clicking the Add
  38. button (Plus Sign icon) on the Address Book button
  39. bar.

  42. Using the Address Book

  45. Click with the Menu button over the To, Cc, Bcc, or Reply-To fields
  46. of the Write Mail window.

  48. This brings up the Address Book. Click on an entry from the Address
  49. Book, and it will be added to the field in the Write Mail window.

  52. Colours

  55. Each entry in the Address Book is shown with a coloured indicator by
  56. it.  These can be used to distinguish different categories of
  57. addresses.  By default, the Grey colour is used, but a different
  58. colour can be selected by clicking the appropriate coloured button
  59. in the Address Entry edit dialogue.

  62. Importing Address Book from Voyager
  63. ===================================

  65. If you already have an address book set up in Voyager, you can
  66. transfer its contents into Pluto by using the !GetAdrLis application
  67. which can be found on the Argo ftp site (under ArgoRelated).

  69. This produces a CSV file from Voyager's address book.  To add this to
  70. Pluto's address book, drop the CSV file which !GetAdrLis produces
  71. (which is called EmailLists.Addresses), onto Pluto's Address Book
  72. window.

  74. If there is a name already in Pluto's address book which is the same
  75. as a name from the Voyager address book, it will not be overwritten
  76. by the Voyager one.

  78. !GetAdrLis also extracts distribution lists (mail lists) from
  79. Voyager.  These can be edited manually (see below) to produce Pluto
  80. Distribution Lists.

  83. Importing Hotlist from the ANT Suite

  86. Drop the ANT Hotlist file (filetype HTML) onto Pluto's Address Book
  87. window.  Any email addresses (mailto: URL's) in the Hotlist will be
  88. added to the address book.

  91. Importing Address Book from Marcel (ANT Suite)

  94. Drop the Marcel address book file (UserDir.!MarcelDir.Files.aliases)
  95. onto Pluto's Address Book window.
