This directory contains some files supplied for Acorn User by Acorn itself. The FTP directory and sub-directories has the Acorn ftp site. To access the files on here, you would normally have to download them over the Internet - here they are all accessable from the CD-ROM. The files include up-to-the minute versions of Acorn modules and programs, various information lists and databases and past copies of the Acorn Customer hotline.
The LARGEDEMO archive contains a very large demo for people with high-spec Risc PCs. It needs 8Mb free memory to run - ie about 10Mb minimum of DRAM - and 2Mb of VRAM. We hope you like it; we've no idea what it does, because our Risc PC only has 1Mb VRAM...
