• Don’t view this option - it just opens the ArcFS application. ArcFS in on the root directory of the CD-ROM, in the same window as this menu.
Welcome to Creative Curriculum Software's installation program on CDROM. You can use this utility to order disk-based and CDROM-based products from the CCS range; if you have a hard disk, you will then be able to install and use disk-based software immediately.
The system operates as follows:
1) You decide which product you would like to order. To help you determine how the various software items will meet your particular requirements, demonstration versions of some of the products are included along with this installation program.
2) You run the installation program and select the product you wish to order from the list shown. If you require more information about that particular product, click the ‘Info’ icon to display a brief summary of the program's features and pricing details.
3) Click ‘Order’. You will be presented with a machine number: a unique code which corresponds to your hardware setup. You should note down this number, ready to quote it when ordering your software.
4) Clicking ‘OK’ presents you with the registration screen. After typing your name and address into this window, please telephone Creative Curriculum Software on the number given to obtain a code allowing you to unlock your chosen software and install it on to your hard drive.
When phoning, please be ready to quote:
• Your machine number, as displayed by the installation program.
• Your name and address, as entered into the registration window.
• The software you wish to purchase.
• Your ACCESS / VISA card number and expiry date.
5) Once Creative Curriculum Software have the above details, you will be issued with a code number to type into the bottom right hand box in the registration window. You will now be able to click on ‘OK’ and install a copy of the software on to your hard drive.
6) To install, drag the directory icon in the window which appears into a directory viewer for the hard disk you wish to install to.
7) You will be sent a manual and installation disk to accompany your software. The installation disk will allow you to de-install the software from your hard drive and move it to another drive. If you have purchased a site or network licence, you will be able to use the install program sent to you to make further copies of the software or install it on to a network.
